Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1/2 cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cup Shortening (Organic Spectrum preferred)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl or bowl of a stand mixer add shortening, beat on high for 5 minutes.

  2. Add oil and beat for another 1-2 minutes, then add flour. 

  3. Beat the mixture on high until there are no lumps and all ingredients are incorporated.

  4. Store in airtight container. If oil separates during storage,  stir again to incorporate. 

  5. Apply a liberal coat to baking pans using a pastry brush whenever instructions call for greasing and flouring the pan. 

Recipe Notes

Apply a liberal amount with a pastry brush to baking pans. Store in cool dry place, if mixture separates, mix again to combine ingredients.
